New Table and Chairs ( sort of )......Ok, my husband is known for his shopping ( that's a nice way of saying he is a shop-a-holic ). Anyway, this morning he calls me on the cell to say he found a table and chair set for the kitchen at a garage sale and he wants me to come and look at it. To make a long story short I am now the proud new owner of a dinette table and two chairs. They are pretty beat up, but with any luck when we re-finish them they will look like the pieces in the pictures above ( and it only cost $45.00 ). I have two similar chairs already and as much as I love my big square table that we have had for ages, its always been to big for the space in my kitchen. Now I will have a nice round table for the bay window and 4 chairs instead of two. And I will be one step closer to the French country style I hope to one day have in my kitchen. The smaller picture ( the one with stained doors ) is the effect I am hoping to achieve and if all goes well this will be the final finish for our kitchen cabinets (one day).
