Big Announcement

I had no idea when I created this video for my Youtube channel that I would end up creating a business out of it. I guess everyone had been waiting except me. LOL I will say I am scared to death. But my daughter Quisha is so confident in me that she has invested in the company LOL. She has pretty much funded everything I need to start off. For now we are taking custom orders and hope to eventually branch out enough that I will be able to ship my creations out to clients who are not in the area. We already have some interest and to say that I am astonished is an understatement. And to think this all started with a conversation with my daughter of ways that I could bring a little extra cash into the home.

A close up of my Flip flop wreath.

I did end up going back and placing a few hidden Mickeys on this project. I mean...I'm not called the Disney Queen for nothin. Unfortunately I won't be selling Disney wreaths but everything else is fair game. If you would like to follow along on the journey just search for Treasured Creations by Cyndi on Facebook.

4th of July Tablescape

I recently did a video on my YouTube channel sharing my 4th of July Tablescape. I thought I would share the photos here.

One of my favorite tips from Pinterest. My family is always putting our names on our cups. Took it up a notch with a name tag. LOL

Most of the dishes pictured here I have had forever. The red plates should be familiar since I used them last month in my Spring Tabledecor. The floral plastic plate is from Walmart many moons ago. The Star dish is from the Target Dollar spot.

The mini buckets you always see at Target can be used for so many things. I placed straws in them this time around.

I love this little Patriotic dish from Marshall's I picked up a few years ago. It has a larger matching bowl that I used to raise up my tin pail that I used as a centerpiece.

This flag vase was my most expensive Dollar spot item at a whopping $5. LOL I filled it with a rose bouquet left over from my daughters wedding reception. The foam hearts came from the Dollar Tree.

I almost stamped Mickey heads on these wooden starts but changed my mind at the last minute. I may still do it for a future project.

I love my Pineapple napkin holder. The symbol has always gives me that Southern Hospitality vibe.

Another Star dish from Target as well as the Navy plastic plate has been around a while. The "forks" are perfect for s'mores or roasting a hotdog.

This little tin pail from the Target Dollar spot was perfect for holding my utensils.

I turned my flag bowl upside down so I could use it as a base to raise up my centerpiece. The USA sign is also from the Dollar spot.

The centerpiece has flags from the Dollar Tree, Red roses and Sparklers (a little tip...if your flag becomes wrinkled while in storage, you can liven it up by ironing it).

I love doing these type of projects. And I especially like doing them on a budget.

Minnie Mouse Flower and Garden Party

We recently had a Garden Themed Woman's Potluck at our church and I used the occasion as an opportunity to create my own interpretation of a Minnie Mouse Flower and Garden inspired Tablescape.

I then recreated that same theme at home on my breakfast table.

If you would like to here the whole story in more detail go and check out my video on my Disney YouTube channel (and don't forget to subscribe while you are there).

Disney Minnie Themed Birthday Party

I am all about celebrating birthdays, but just because you have a limited budget does not mean you can't do it up right! And just because you are 55 doesn't mean you can't celebrate Disney style!

I celebrated my birthday with family at my mom's home. I did all of the decorating and my family pitched in with food. Many of the decorations were from my tabledecor at home. I used a checkered tablecloth that I have had forever. And even used my Disney condiment holder from Target as a centerpiece. The red and black paper pom poms all came from the Dollar Tree.

Decorated my moms stove with my Mickey tea cloths that I got years ago from WDW.

I saw this idea on Pinterest.

The printables came from off of Pinterest.

As well as the idea to use price labels on red solo cups as Mickey pants.

The Buffet set up before the food started to arrive.

I sprinkled the pom poms throughout my moms house.

The pillow my cousin gave me last year.

I added pendants to a pre-made banner I got from Dollar Tree. And I created a "photo" area for taking pics with family in front of the fireplace. The Mickey and Minnie were a gift from my husband a few years ago and the rug is from Target. I also purchased Mickey photo props from Target in the kiddy birthday party section (no shame in my game). LOL You can see a vlog from that day here.

Minnie Mouse Birthday Table Decor on A Budget

Since April is over and I am about to finally switch out my Birthday table set up in my kitchen I thought I would share my Tablescape before I break it all down. My goal was to use items I already had at home with a few add ons (mainly free printables from off of Pinterest).

My Minnie piggy bank made for a great central point for the table.

I re-purposed the frame I used for my daughter's wedding shower by putting a Minnie sticker in the photo section.

I also re-purposed my red Dollar Tree Christmas plates, some left over dotted napkins, and the centerpieces from the wedding reception. I added some ribbon I just had lying around to the mason jars to tie in the colors even more.

The only thing I actually purchased were these popcorn/treat bags and some construction paper from the Dollar Tree. The Mickey head scrapbook paper was already in my stash at home. I used a decorative punch on that to give it a little more pizzazz.

Most of the Minnie printables can be found on my Pinterest Minnie Mouse Party board.

Including the Minnie Ears with a bow that is in the larger centerpiece. The red votives are from Michaels Arts and Crafts (I usually use them at Christmas).

I created the sign myself. Just used some clip art I found online and re-purposed the gold frame from my Royal Wedding Watch Party. You can see the table in more detail on my YouTube channel that I posed here .

Cheap and Simple Gender Reveal Centerpieces

A few months ago a friend asked me to help create some centerpieces for her daughters gender reveal party. She was looking for something simple and cheap. No problem! I grabbed a few boxes, wrapped them in baby themed wrapping paper from the Dollar Tree and added Tissue paper flowers (also from the Dollar Tree on Top). The whole thing cost me just under $20 for 15 tables.
