Post wedding party

Nicki's father in law is hosting a party today for the newlyweds. So guess what I did yesterday??

I kept the centerpieces simple. And I used plastic tablecloths on the guest tables. After two weeks of cleaning stains out of linen, plus having a tooth that will be extracted on Monday I didn't want to have to do too much physical work. I know my mom and BFF would have been proud! Apparently my OCD over how decorations are suppose to look really came out the weekend of the wedding! lol

Above is the beverage table, gift table, cake table and the buffet table. 

I stuck to the beachy/nautical theme since it was the theme that B's dads invites looked like! I also stayed away from the pink (which Nicki said was rude lol) because it was being hosted by a male family member for the grooms side of the family. We had plenty of pink at the wedding shower and the wedding itself! 

I still had to go back and put a tablecloth on the head table. But I have been itching to tie chair sashes this way and yesterday gave me that chance! I will be using this look again for sure! 

We sent Mr. V a picture after Nicki and I finished setting up and he loved it! So mission accomplished! He has the harder job, which is cooking for 80 people!! I would much rather decorate for a party any day versus cook for one!! lol 

Clean up will be a breeze (which I also love)! lol
