In all the years that Nicki has worked beside me on weddings I don't think I ever thought about what it would feel like to be on the other side. We've been at this a long time and there have even been occasions when I've stood back and watched her take the lead in her make-up business helping brides prepare for their big day.
Unless your a scrapbooker I'm not sure you would even understand the need to document every moment of your child's wedding journey but that is exactly what I plan to do. I want to live the moments as well so I'm trying to take everything in as it happens because Lord willing this will be the only occasion I have to help plan my youngest daughters big day.
From the moment Byron first told me he was planning to propose I made up my mind that I would be her number one cheerleader and we have both said there is no room for a bridezilla or a bride mamazilla! So let the planning begin! This mama is determined to have the mindset that I'm gaining a son not losing a daughter.
