Nicki selected her wedding dress!!!
Our David's Bridal Consultant was delightful to work with and made a very busy day (and store) into a celebration!!
Nicki's godmother and Maid of Honor along for the ride!!
We went to the wedding venue to finalize everything for the big weekend!! Took my BFF Teresa (who is the Day of Coordinator) out to the Center and she couldn't stop raving!
Nicki and a Byron had a taste testing with the caterer and booked him this past weekend!!
Save the dates have started going out!
I'm going to have to work with this girl on putting the guest list on a spreadsheet rather then a poster board!! But hey it got the job done lol
Nicki and I went to my sisters this past weekend to get measured (me for my mother of the bride dress, and Nicki for a special surprise).
She went all professional and high tech on us and had everything displayed on the big screen in her office conference room!! lol
The DJ has been been booked and today Nicki and B signed the contracts for the photographer!
Her wedding shower is only a few months away (we actually booked the venue for that months ago) so I also ordered the linen for that this week as well!
All and all I would say January has been a very productive month!
We've checked off lots of boxes and thankfully there are only a few more left to go!! Nicki even picked out her wedding invitations (she just needs to put in the order). I'm very proud of my baby girl because she did all of this while starting her first week back in college!! On top of all the other exiting news..she will be getting her degree in Mass Communications (after a long hiatus) hopefully in 2018!!
Getting all of these boxes checked off had taking a load off of both of us. Now I'm just looking forward to the big weekend!!
