My newest obsession! Back in January I started posting my Sunday attire on twitter. Not for any particular reason, just for the fun of it. I have been a lover of fashion since High School. At one point I wanted to to design clothing, and even went to school after graduation to study Fashion Merchandising. At one point my dream was to work for Marcy's in New York as a buyer! Instead I became a mom and the only people I was buying clothing for was my three adorable rugrats! In a lot of ways I'm still doing that. Nicki and I spend a lot of time shopping together, and my husband it turns out is even more of a fashion guru then I am! No seriously the man has way more shoes and clothing then I will ever own (which may explain why Quisha tends to ask him for advice more so then me...lol)! Anyway long story short this week I have been scouring the internet looking at Fashion Blogs. And the one thing I have noticed is that most of the blogggers young, very beautiful and slim as all get up. I on the other hand wear a size 14 and in a few weeks I will turn 47! Sooo I tweeted..... where are all of the blogs for the slightly curvy women over 40? My friend tweeted back I should start my own. HAHA, as if I don't have enough irons in the fire (decorating, event planning, disney trip planning oh and ministry). But the more I thought about it the more I like the idea (at least maybe as a "Sunday Best" feature on my blog). Hoping I can get my girls in on it also, but we will see. And as usual this is just for fun and I don't claim to be an expert at anything, but since its my blog....well we'll just see how long I last and if anyone else notices besides a few friends and family members! LOL
