Today is a day that we should never forget. My prayers go out to the families and the victims from 911. Its hard to believe its been 6 years. I still remember where I was at the time. On the phone talking to my friend Diane. We watched the first plane hit, and then in horror watched the 2nd plane hit. I recall thinking at the time that this couldn't be possible, yet I knew at that very moment that this was not a mistake. I also knew the way of life my children knew would forever be changed. Today I watched Oprah and listened to the impact this day has had on the lives of children who lost a love one. This is one of the main reason we should never forget this day. Close to 3,000 people lost their life that day. We owe it to them and their families to never forget and do what we can do to make sure it never happens again. I'm not sure how, whether its through our votes, in service to our country, or just by living our lives to the fullest and with purpose. Whatever way you choose...do something. Many have given up their freedom to pave the way for those of us left behind. It's up to us all to make it count for something.Tuesday, September 11, 2007
