This is a layout for an album I am doing for a friend ( Peggy I hope you like it? ). Its for her daughters graduation party which was a tropical themed Hawaiian Luau. My graduation present to her daughter was to do some of the pages from her graduation weekend. I decided to do the party. I'm hoping to give it that tropical feel without being too themey (yes, I know that is not a real word) if you know what I mean ? I have been in a slump the last month and this is the first layout I have done in a long time ( other then my "Its About Me" album which requires little or no thought since Lisa B and CK provided great instructions....lol ). I may post a few of the pics from that album today also. See what happens when you charge your camera batteries? Hopefully I can get a few more pages done before I leave on my trip. I have a two page spread sitting on my desk now ( Yes Peggy its one of yours...and it would be finished if I hadn't run out of xyron adhesive ). So this weekend I will be making a trip to AC Moore or Michaels to fill up on some much needed supplies.
Note: Speaking of adhesive....never ever buy the photo squares from AC Moore in the blue box...I hate them. I usually use Fiskars Photo tabs from Walmart, but our Walmart looks like a tornado hit it right now ( they have been remodeling for weeks and there is stuff everywhere...of course the section that has suffered the most is the craft section). So I will be heading to Michaels to stock up.
