Our Life in Pictures (Part 2)

Our life has gone through some major changes in the last year. Marc's illness almost a year ago changed the way I look at things (in most cases for the better). I made a committment then that I would make some choices about how I would spend my life each day and for the most part I think I have been doing that fairly well. We spend a lot more time together as a couple, as a family and with friends.
Some changes have taken a bit to get use to, and some changes have been downright painful. For the most part my health has been good ( I can't say my stress level has gone down, but that is something I plan to change in the coming months). I have learned to say no to a few things and yes to many more. My spiritual life has seen the most change. I feel that I am in a good place and my focus has been to keep my mind stayed on Jesus.

Marc and I are adjusting to our new roles as Pastor and pastors wife. This is him sitting at the desk of his new office. The funny thing is that it is only temporary. The church is in the planning stages of a new church sanctuary and the remodeling of the old building for a new fellowship hall.

Marc may never admit it, but he is enjoying his new position.

Marc finished his last month at our home church. This is him with a young minister that he has been mentoring for the last two years. He was guest speaker for our final Youth Revival as Youth Directors. It was a bittersweet goodbye. We have been there for over seven years and we love the people of GMZBC. But I understand now why he has removed us from what became our comfort zone. We are excited about what changes he has in store for us in ministry.

The new church held a potluck "Meet and Greet" to introduce the congregation to our family. I was letting them know that they have my permission to feed their pastor every Sunday (lol).

Wonders will never cease. My family convinced me to attend a tail gate party and a homecoming game at the school my cousin is an assistant principal at. I know zelch about sports so I just stood and clapped when everyone else did. I have to say....I don't miss High School. It was the worse time of my life. Being an adult has been way more fun.
Like I said we have been going through some major changes. But change is good so I say bring it on!
